This post is a bit late, but a few weeks back me, Lorna and
David took part in the book binding session organised by our university. We learnt
a range of book binding techniques and also had a go and putting together some
books. I did not make the orange perfect bound book; this example was already
made before the session because the glue needs to be left to dry overnight, although
we did learn how. This is definitely something worthwhile and will save me
money in the future with paying for books to be printed and bound. I was looking
at creating a perfect bound book for my Professional Development Plan at the
end of this year anyway, so this session came in really useful.
